Everyone's got their own interpretations of their favorite shows and characters, and those interpretations vary from person to person. As the show grows and develops in canon, fanon will continue to grow and prosper even if the media itself ends. With each new chapter to a story, a door opens to all sorts of expressions of how the fans themselves will branch off of whatever prospect they wish.
Twicorn, so far, has been one of the most controversial subjects of the fandom, and along with that comes with the fanwork, mostly stemming from one question; Now that Twilight is a princess, where will they go with this? I've seen examples from Twilight being paranoid about the responsabilities of a princess to the possibility of Twilight actually becoming a villain herself, much like how Luna became Nightmare Moon. The creative spectrum is always growing, even when it seems like it has nowhere to go.
And that's why I'm sticking around.
